Precision Rings for PS5, Xbox and Switch Controllers

Most aim problems on controller are not about speed, they are about stopping. You flick towards a target and the crosshair travels just past it. Precision rings sit around the base of the thumbstick and add resistance to its movement. Small movements stay smooth, hard pushes meet more push-back, and you overshoot less. They do not add any height to the stick.

One pack, three strengths

Every pack has 6 rings for €8.95: two easy, two soft and two hard.

  • Easy: light resistance, closest to a stock stick.
  • Soft: balanced, and where most players end up.
  • Hard: maximum control, for sniping at high sensitivity.

Start with easy, play a few matches, then move up to soft if your aim still feels loose. Hard is for players who want the stick to barely move when they hold an angle.

Rings are not aim assist

Precision rings do not move your crosshair for you. They change how the stick feels under your thumb, so the aim you already have becomes more controlled. Stick drift is a different story: it comes from wear inside the controller and rings do not repair it. With very mild drift, a ring can make the stick feel steadier around the centre. Read more in our article on whether precision rings prevent stick drift.

Better together

Rings add control, extenders add range. The Pro Kit combines both with controller grips, and the Aim Kit pairs rings with thumb grips for €14.95. All kits are in the bundles collection.

We ship as letterbox post: 1 to 2 business days to the Netherlands and Belgium, 2 to 4 to Germany and France. Free shipping from €14.95.

Frequently asked questions

What do precision rings actually do?

They sit around the base of the stick and add resistance. A gentle push moves freely, a hard push meets more push-back. That makes it easier to stop exactly on target, without making the stick taller.

Which strength should I use?

Start with easy. If your aim still feels loose after a few matches, go to soft, which is where most players settle. Use hard for sniping at high sensitivity.

Do precision rings fix stick drift?

No. Drift is caused by wear inside the controller. With very mild drift, rings can make the stick feel steadier around the centre, but they are not a repair.

Do they fit the DualSense Edge and the Xbox Elite Series 2?

Yes. The PS5 rings fit the DualSense Edge and the Xbox rings fit the Elite Series 2, on whichever stick you have fitted.

Can I use them with thumb grips or FPS extenders?

Yes. Rings sit at the base, grips and extenders sit on top. The Aim Kit and Pro Kit combine them for less.
