Do thumb grips actually help your aim?
They help your grip, and that makes your aim more consistent. The textured top stops your thumb sliding off when your hands get warm, and your thumb lands in the same spot on the stick every time. They don't change your sensitivity, and they add barely any height.
Are thumb grips worth it?
For most players, yes. You get 8 caps for €8.95, enough for four controllers or for spares. They are also a cheap fix when the rubber on your sticks has worn smooth.
Do they fit the Joy-Con and the Switch OLED?
Yes. They fit the Joy-Con, which you use on both the standard Switch and the Switch OLED, and the Switch Pro Controller. A pair of Joy-Con uses two caps.
Will thumb grips fix Joy-Con drift?
No. Joy-Con drift comes from wear inside the controller, not from the rubber on top, so no cap can fix it. The caps do protect the rubber, so your sticks stay grippy for longer. If the drift is still very light, Precision Rings can calm the stick a little around the centre. That softens the symptom, it does not repair the Joy-Con. Do the caps make the sticks feel bigger?
Barely. They add about a millimetre, which is why they work well on the small Joy-Con sticks.

Do thumb grips affect aim assist?
No. Aim assist is built into the game, not the controller. A cap changes how the stick feels, not the input it sends, so aim assist works exactly as before.
Are thumb grips allowed in ranked and tournaments?
In online play, including ranked, yes. They are passive caps that don't change what the controller sends to the console. For official tournaments, especially LAN events, always check the rulebook, because every organiser sets its own rules.
Can I use the same caps on my PS5 and Xbox controller?
Yes. One pack fits the DualSense, the DualShock 4 and Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One controllers as well as your Switch controllers.
Do they fit the Switch Pro Controller?
Yes. Each of the two sticks takes one cap.
What is the difference with the PS5 and Xbox Thumb Grips?
None in the caps themselves. This page is for Switch players and homes with several consoles. If you only play on PlayStation or Xbox, the platform pages tell you more about your controller.
How fast is delivery?
